Applying for the title of docent at the Faculty of Law
The University of Turku may on application award the title of docent to a person who has thorough expertise in his or her field, the skills necessary for conducting independent research or artistic work as evidenced by publications or otherwise, and good teaching skills.
Before submitting the application, the applicant needs to discuss it with a professor or associate professor in the field.

The free-form application addressed to the Rector of the University of Turku must be delivered to the Faculty of Law (Faculty of Law, 20014 University of Turku, or law(a)utu.fi.
