Exceptions to the opening hours of the library units during national public holidays in 2024

National public holidays

All Turku University Library units are closed on 

  • Easter 29.3.–1.4.
  • May Day 1.5. (All library units will close at 4 pm on May Day Eve 30.4.)
  • Ascension Day 9.5.
  • Whit Sunday 19.5. 
  • Midsummer 21.–23.6. (All library units will close at 4 pm on 20.6.)
  • All Saints' Day 2.11.
  • Independence Day 6.12. 
  • Christmas 21.–29.12.
  • New Year 1.1.2025
  • Epiphany 6.1.2025

Summer holidays 2024

All library units are open with reduced opening hours from June to beginning of September, 1.6.–1.9. The Feeniks Library is open on weekdays throughout the summer, but the other library units are closed in July, 21.6.–31.7.

Customer service at Arcanum, Calonia, Educarium, School of Economics and Teutori Libraries open at 12 o'clock noon and at Feeniks Library at 9 am.
