JOO-studies at Turku School of Economics

All Finnish universities are parties to the Flexible Study Rights Agreement (JOO), which provides graduate and post-graduate students of Finnish universities or Turku University of Applied Sciences the opportunity to include courses from Turku School of Economics at the University of Turku into their degrees.

JOOPAS-system closed on 31.12.2021. From 1.1.2022 onwards and until the new system is working, the University of Turku is using a paper form. The form (pdf or word) should be returned to TSE’s Office for Academic and Student Affairs either in electronic or paper form. Please see TSE's application periods before filling the form.

NB! An electronic application is in use between the University of Turku and Åbo Akademi University and also between the University of Turku and Turku University of Applied Sciences from 11 November 2022 onwards. For more information, please check instructions here. Also exchange students in TY, ÅA and TUAS use the electronic application procedure.

Please note that your application should arrive to TSE by the end of the application period, so ask for support from your own university in time. No rights will be granted after the application deadline.

Please note that receiving a JOO study right is not the same as course registration. After you have received your utu credentials, you have to register for the courses in Peppi following TSE’s course registration periods. You can find the registration and teaching periods below from the Academic Calendar.
