The Annual Report that presents the operations of the University of Turku in 2014 has been published. It is available both in Finnish and English. You can read the digital version of the Annual Report on your computer or tablet.

Rector Kalervo Väänänen describes 2014 as one of the most productive years in the University’s history, especially in the number of completed degrees and publications.

In addition, the University continued to modernise learning environments and making study paths more straightforward. Significant decisions were also made in regard to investments, the largest of which is constructing the new Medisiina D building with the University’s partners in co-operation.

– 2014 was capped last autumn by the Nobel Prize in Chemistry won by our former researcher and Honorary Doctor Stefan Hell. Let his example remind us all that, in the end, research depends upon creativity and an inspiring research environment, says Rector Väänänen.

The digital version of the Annual Report is available on the University's web pages both in Finnish and English.
