Information specialist Kaisu Kesonen explains that Education Source Ultimate is designed to facilitate the research needs of users in the field of education by providing access to a comprehensive collection of peer-reviewed, full-text journals. The database has been in trial use at the University of Turku during the fall, and due to positive user experiences, it has been acquired for university use. Education Source Ultimate is a web-based database designed to serve the diverse academic community. The database offers a user-friendly platform with a wealth of scholarly articles, research studies, conference papers, and educational publications, covering a wide range of educational topics.

Education Source Ultimate includes new full-text journals
Education Source Ultimate includes approximately 1,500 journals offering full-text articles, more than the Education Source database previously provided by the library. It also includes over 4,000 education-related conference papers and educational videos from the SimpleK12 service.
– We have highlighted the expansion of the database in information management skills training sessions and have also promoted the update to teachers and researchers, say library information experts Joni Lanki and Kaisu Kesonen.
