FinEd call for applications for travel grants open on February 2-28, 2015

The Finnish Multidisciplinary Doctoral Training Network on Educational Sciences (FinEd, former KASVA) opens a call for applications for travel grants for the year 2015. The call is directed for all current members of FinEd, as well as the doctoral students of the doctoral programmes / other units who have expressed their preliminary interest in being a member of FinEd after year 2015.

The travel grants of FinEd are granted for international conferences, scientific seminars, summer schools of other research visits related to the doctoral studies held abroad during the year 2015. Depending on the number of applications, the grants are also given as partial. The priority with the grants is given to the current members of FinEd who work with their dissertation full-time (graduate school, doctoral programme or project financing, grant). If there aren’t enough applications like this, also applications from those who work with their dissertation part-time are taken into account. We aim at an equal share of grants between the universities.

An accepted conference abstract or another specified work contribution is required for the travel grant. See the call for applications and fill in the electronic application by February 28th, 2015. The decisions are announced by March 13th, 2015.
