First a New Intranet, Now a New Website
The new website is especially aimed for people who are interested in the university, education and research. The Intranet has all the necessary information and tools for the students and staff.
- The purpose of our new website is to create an inviting image of our university, its research and experts and present it as a work and studying place. The site is built so that the originality and uniqueness of faculties and special units are truly shown, says Communication Director Anne Paasi.
As the website is aimed mainly for external target groups, the intranet is the place where students and staff can find all the information and tools they may need like email and Moodle.
Development Continues
In this first phase, the pages of three faculties; Turku School of Economics, Faculty of Law and Faculty of Social Sciences have been transformed to the new visual image. In addition, the pages of three special units; BID, Functional Foods Forum and Finland Futures Research Centre (FFRC) were published.
The rest of the faculties and units will renew their web pages during the year 2013.
