Grant for scientific research at Institute of Biomedicine (application period 31.3.-14.4.2026)

The Institute of Biomedicine opens a call for grant applications. The grant is for breast cancer research. The grant is part of a project investigating the effect of physiological factors on the expression of stem cell proteins in healthy breast tissue. The project is supported by the Sigrid Juselius Foundation.  Research methods include analysis of mass spectrometry and single-cell sequencing data, molecular biological methods, immunohistochemistry, and microscopic imaging. Knowledge of the subject area and competence in the relevant research methods is considered as an advantage when evaluating the applications.
