What do you think about nature in and around cities? And what about the predators that live in forests? Take part in our online survey and help researchers better understand people’s relationship with nature in Finland.
What thoughts and feelings do green areas in and around cities, and the animals that inhabit them, evoke in us?
The University of Turku’s Urban Biophilia project investigates how people in Finland feel about forests and parks in and around urban areas, as well as Finland’s large carnivores: wolves, lynx, bears, and wolverines. The study will help researchers better understand people’s relationship with nature in Finland and their views on large carnivores.
You can participate in the study by completing an online survey by the end of 2027. The survey is open to anyone aged 18 or over who lives in Finland. Completing the survey takes approximately 15–25 minutes. The survey is anonymous, and your email address will not be recorded.
Only fully completed questionnaires will be included in the study, so please answer all sections of the survey.
The study is funded by the Turku Urban Research Programme. Thank you for participating!
