Library opening hours in December and at the end of the year
There are changes to the library's opening hours during end of the year holiday season from Monday, 16 December 2024 to Monday, 6 January 2025.
On Independence Day, Fri 6.12.2024, all library branches will be closed. Arcanum Library, Calonia Library, Educarium Library, School of Economics Library, Teutori Library and the Teacher Education Library in Rauma can be used independently with a university key card.
During the week before Christmas, the library units will be open with reduced opening hours. Except for the Feeniks Library, the doors of the buildings on the Turku campus will be locked from 13 December and access to the library units will be with a university access card. If you don't have an access card, please visit the library during customer service hours 12-16. Call the library to ask for access. The exact opening hours and phone numbers for each library can be found on the library's website.
The Feeniks library is open on weekdays between Christmas and Epiphany. The other branches of the library will be completely closed from 21 December 2024 to 6 January 2025, and self-service access to the facilities and materials will not be available.
It is not possible to reserve library material in Volter during the Christmas period from 20 December 2024 to 6 January 2025. However, you can place orders from the Feeniks Library by contacting library@utu.fi.
Loans can be returned to the outside return boxes of the Feeniks Library, Educarium Library and Teutori Library when the libraries are closed.
