Members of the University Board, Collegiate Council and Faculty Councils have been elected

The new members of the University Board, University Collegiate Council and Faculty Councils are now elected.
In the University Board, the representatives of the professor grouping are Professor Anne Kovalainen and Professor Jyrki Heino. From the grouping “other teaching and research personnel and other staff”, Information Security Officer Mats Kommonen and Docent Maija Peltola were elected. The representatives of the students are Jukka Koivisto and Aku Kähkönen. The Board members from outside the University of Turku are Professor Jaakko Astola from Tampere University of Technology, CEO of Raisio Matti Rihko, retired Governor Rauno Saari and Doctor of Political Science Cay Sévon.

In the election of the University Collegiate Council, the representatives of other teaching and research personnel and other staff were elected. During the following four-year term, these representatives are:
- Ilari E. Sääksjärvi (personal deputy Seppo Virtanen)
- Eero Kuparinen (Laura Tyysteri)
- Helena Juusela (Anne Saarenpää)
- Elina Pelto (Jaana Mäki-Tuominen)
- Leena Järveläinen (John Smeds)
- Leena Henderson (Sanna Kuusjärvi)
- Juha-Pekka Pellonpää (Minna Maijala)
- Anne Rumpunen-Virtanen (Heli Virtanen)
- Antti Pajala (Johannes Heikkonen)
- Petri Teräspuro (Asta Laiho).
The representatives of the professors were chosen in so called consensus elections.
In the Council of Turku School of Economics, the new representatives of other teaching and research personnel and other staff are:
- Juha Kaskinen (personal deputy Johanna Kärki)
- Jonna Järveläinen (Arja Lemmetyinen)
- Kirsi Kostia (Aki Koponen)
- Kirsi-Mari Kallio (Ari Karppinen)
The members of the other Faculty Councils and the professor members of the Council of Turku School of Economics were chosen in consensus elections.
