Mr Pasi Kaskinen appointed CEO of Finland University Inc.

​Mr Pasi Kaskinen, MSc (Agriculture and Forestry), 47, has been appointed CEO of Finland University Inc. He will start in the position on 1 January 2014.

 Mr Kaskinen will take on the CEO position with Finland University Inc. after serving Systems Thinking Europe Ltd. in the role of a Senior Advisor. Mr Kaskinen also has several years of experience in executive positions with AEL, a company specialising in technical training. He has, among other things, been involved in the launch of AEL’s business in China, and he has acted as the CEO of AEL’s Chinese affiliate. Mr Kaskinen has extensive experience in international business as well as in the development and sales of training products.

Finland University Inc. is a company co-owned by the University of Eastern Finland, the University of Tampere, and the University of Turku. The company markets and sells its owner universities’ international training services. The objective of the company is to sell training services provided by the universities to international audiences, to enhance cooperation between the universities in the promotion and marketing of international education, and to develop education products for the international market.
