Professor Marc Wouters from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) will visit the Department of Accounting and Finance 13–20 August 2018.
Prof. Wouters’ research has focused on the use of management accounting in operations and innovations. He is one of the most well-known employers of the interventionist research approach in and around accounting research in the world. He’s scholarly works have been published in a notable variety of business studies journals such as: Harvard Business Review, MIT Sloan Management Review, Accounting, Organizations and Society, Contemporary Accounting Research, Accounting Horizons, Accounting and Business Research, Management Accounting Research, Human Resource Management, Interfaces, Journal of Operations Management, R&D Management, European Journal of Operational Research, International Journal of Operations and Production Management, and Industrial Marketing Management.
During his visit, he will collaborate with Professor Kari Lukka on a joint research project. He will also act as an opponent of the PhD thesis defence of Eero Ståhlberg on Fri 17 August at 12.
Prof. Wouters will use room 344.
