Professor Yves Gendron will visit the Department of Accounting and Finance 22–25 August 2018.
Prof. Gendron is a prominent accounting scholar, most well-known of his work in the area of critical accounting scholarship. His academic work has been published in a variety of high-quality scholarly journals such as Accounting, Organizations and Society; Auditing: A Journal of Practice & Theory; Critical Perspectives on Accounting; Contemporary Accounting Research; European Accounting Review, Journal of Management Studies; and Organization Studies. He is currently Co-Editor in Chief of Critical Perspectives on Accounting.
During his visit, Prof. Gendron will present a paper on risk management at the research seminar of Thu 23 August at 14-16. On Fri 24 August at 10-12, he will run a workshop dealing with the dangers of too tightly gatekeeping the boundaries between ‘centrally’ and ‘peripherally’ classified research.
Prof. Gendron will use room 344.
