Professor Sharon Sandeen visited the faculty

During Tuesday 5.12.2017, Professor Sharon Sandeen from the IP Institute at Mitchell Hamline School of Law – Minnesota, USA, shared her expertise about trade secret in an open lecture and a Faculty Seminar at the Faculty of Law University of Turku.
Prof. Sandeen is an internationally recognized expert on trade secret law and intellectual property rights. While at the faculty, Prof. Sandeen shared her knowledge an opinion on the soon to come into force EU Trade Secret Directive and the differences with the Uniform Trade Secrets Act with both students form the LIS Master´s program and members of the faculty. This was an enriching experience for all attending, due to the challenges related to trade secret protection from both the US and EU perspectives
