QS Ranking: University of Turku among the World's Top Universities in Nine Subject Areas
The University of Turku's Nursing and Dentistry Degree Programmes rank among the world's 50 best in the QS World University Rankings by Subject.
The University of Turku ranks among the world's best in nine subjects in the new QS Rankings by Subject. The University of Turku reached 24th place in Nursing and 43rd in Dentistry in the international ranking. The University also ranked among the top 200 in three other subjects.

– This ranking highlights the University of Turku's greatest strength, which is multidisciplinary activities of a high standard on the basis of which we are building interdisciplinary research in line with our new strategy, said Kalle-Antti Suominen, Vice Rector responsible for research and the development of research prerequisites.
The QS World University Rankings by Subject evaluated the success of 4,226 universities in 42 subject areas. Indicators included academic reputation, employer reputation, publication impact and the h-index.
