Researcher: Please check and, if necessary, report your publication information from the year 2019 by 31 January, 2020

The Library imports publications by the University of Turku researchers to the Current Research Information System UTUCRIS around the year from several international and national databases. About 50 % of all publications in the University are harvested in the database imports. At the moment, the system contains 3,200 publications, which is approximately 56 % of the annual accumulation. 

Instructions on how to check and inform of the missing publications

The current status of your publication information can be seen either in the in the UTUCRIS research portal or by using Researcher´sCV (available in intranet)

  • Open the UTUCRIS home page https://research.utu.fi
  • In general search, type your name.
  • Choose your name in search results. 
  • Your profile page opens and publication are listed from newest to oldest.
  • Open Research’sCV http://www.utu.fi/researchercv
  • Choose the “My publications" report
  • Select language, publication status and click View Report.
  • CV page opens, and your publications are listed by publication type.

Check whether all your publications are in the system, and whether the information is correct.

If some publications are missing, please submit their information by e-form http://www.utu.fi/crisform or by entering and saving the information independently in the UTUCRIS (instructions). In case the publication information itself is already in the UTUCRIS you can also submit only the copy of the publication manuscript for self-archiving. In this case, you can write e.g. "XX" in the rest of the form fields. If your publication information is in the UTUCRIS but there are errors in the data or some information is lacking, please report these to the Library at researchportal@utu.fi. 

If the publications are already indexed in the source databases library uses (Web of Science, Scopus, Pubmed, Medic, Arto and Selma) but are not yet in the UTUCRIS system, the data will be completed during January and February. Therefore, you do not need to inform or feed these publications manually to the system.

Please note - slight delay may occur concerning publication data management

Turku University Library is migrating to a new library system at the turn of the year 2020. This means that slight delay may occur concerning publication data management. All publication information of 2019 will be validated and prepared for the Ministry reporting during January and February 2020.
