The Global South Network -Economic encounters between the Global North and the Global South: constraints and prospects’

On behalf of the Global South Network, we would like to invite researchers from all fields to the fifth seminar in May under the theme: ‘Economic encounters between the Global North and the Global South: constraints and prospects.’

​The Global South network was established by the Faculty of Humanities in December 2016 and aims to bring together researchers within UTU with a focus on Global South to create opportunities to discuss ongoing research and to embark on joint, interdisciplinary research. The Network currently consists of over 30 researchers ranging from graduate students to professors and aims to expand. Our next meeting will be organized by economic geographers at the Turku School of Economics.
