– The new company takes strongly part in developing the field of clinical medicine in the region and also generates a possibility to increase the research activity of international pharmaceutical companies in Turku, says Chief Executive Officer Antti Iitiä from CRST.

The company works in close cooperation with the University of Turku, the Hospital District of Southwest Finland, Turku PET Centre and Auria Biobank. Together, the organisations create a significant expertise in biomedicine in the area.

CRST was incorporated after careful preparation. The owners of the new company are Ltd. LS Link Ab, UTU Holding Ltd., Aloitusrahasto Vera Ltd. and private shareholders. The company collected about 700 000 euro funding to start up its operations.

The goal of the company is to significantly increase its operations over the next few years. During the first year, the annual revenue is estimated at one million euro. Large part of the revenue is predicted to come from international customers.
