The University of Turku among the Top 400 Universities

​The worldwide Academic Ranking of World Universities was published on 15 August. The University of Turku was placed among the 301-400 best universities, similar to last year.

Of the Finnish universities, the University of Helsinki was 73rd and the University of Oulu was among the 301–400. Aalto University and University of Eastern Finland were in the category 401–500.

Among the top ten universities in the world were eight universities from the United States. Similar to last year, the best European universities were Cambridge and Oxford. The ranking is drawn up by the Jiao Tong University from Shanghai.
