The University of Turku Will Coordinate New Co-operation

The University of Turku has two partner universities in Tianjin ‒ Nankai University and Tianjin University. The Centre for East Asian Studies has collaborated with the Nankai University’s Zhou Enlai School of Management since 2005, and the University of Turku signed a student exchange agreement with both universities this autumn.

From now on, the University of Turku’s co-operation with China will also include co-ordinating the part of universities in the co-operation agreement signed by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) and the Finnish Ministry of Education and Culture on 31 October 2014. The objective of the agreement is to promote research co-operation in the fields of social sciences, law, economics and humanities, including urban study.
