University of Turku Again among the Best 400 in THE World University Rankings

​The University of Turku was placed in the 351–400 range in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2019, which is the same position as last year.

Competition between universities is extremely tough. This round, the University of Turku was able to improve its scores in almost all assessed sectors. As for assessing matters related to teaching, the University of Turku maintained its earlier good scores.

This year, THE ranked the best 1,000 universities out of the over 20,000 universities in the world by emphasising teaching, research, citations, international outlook, and knowledge transfer.
