The partnership between Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University and the University of Turku has spanned over five years. Throughout this time, the collaboration, aimed at improving teaching and learning practices for the academic community, has evolved and led to notable advancements in pedagogical approaches and educational outcomes.
The Innovation and Enterprise Development training programme organised by the University of Turku aims to provide understanding of the key principles of innovation and enterprise development as well as ideas and motivation for implementing entrepreneurship and innovation strategies in higher education.
In February 2023, a delegation of teachers from the Czech Republic spent two weeks in Finland as part of a training period during which they observed the Finnish teaching and education system.
Six teachers from Georgia visited the Turun normaalikoulu school and the Turku International School during August and September to learn more about Finnish education. On 16 September, the Finnish International School opened in the city of Saguramo.
