Collaboration at the Department of Gender Studies
Gender Studies co-operates broadly with all departments at the School of History, Culture and Arts Studies and with many departments at the University’s other Faculties (especially Social Sciences, Education, and Law).
Moreover, Gender Studies co-operates with the Department of Gender Studies at Åbo Akademi University (former Institute of Women's Studies at Åbo Akademi University) in planning courses in English, open to students from both universities. Despite this, exchange students who wish to attend courses at Åbo Akademi University must register as students at Åbo Akademi University as well.
