Accommodation

We have collected here some accommodation options in Turku. More options for accommodation (hotels, hostels and apartments) can be found, for example, in booking.com.

Hotels

Original Sokos Hotel Kupittaa

  • Almost next to the Department of Nursing Science, only couple minute walk from hotel to the Department of Nursing Science
  • The train from Helsinki to Turku arrives here, also (at the moment the main train station of Turku is under renovation, so all the trains that come from Helsinki stops at the Kupittaa station).

If you prefer more central location, we would suggest some other option, even though the walk from hotel to city center is not long, less than 2 km.

Centro Hotel Turku

  • Located in the city center, 1,8 km walk from hotel to the Department of Nursing Science.

Scandic Hamburger Börs

  • Located in the middle of city center, 1,9 km walk from hotel to the Department of Nursing Science.

Radisson Blu Marina Palace Hotel

  • Located in the city center by Aura River, 2,3 km walk from hotel to the Department of Nursing Science.

Original Sokos Hotel Wiklund

Hotel Kakola

  • Located in the city center, but closer to the harbor, 3,5 km walk from hotel to the Department of Nursing Science.
  • The building is an old jail, which has an interesting history. In this area there are also couple really nice restaurants (Kakolan Ruusu, Kakola Brewery) and nice spa, so we encourage you to visit here even though you would not book a room from here.

Holiday Club Caribia

  • Located near the University of Turku, and 1 km from the city center.
Hostels and B&Bs

Bed&Breakfast Tuure

  • Located in the city center, 2,0 km walk from hostel to the Department of Nursing Science.
