Studying at the Department of Nursing Science

We offer Bachelor, Master and Doctoral Degree studies in Nursing Science. Our Bachelor (BHSc) and Master (MHSc) Degree studies are in Finnish, but there are several courses that you can study in English as a visiting or an exchange student. In autumn 2019, an International double Master's Degree Programme in Future Health & Technology (120 ECTS) was launched as a collaborative effort between the University of Turku and University of Fudan, China. This programme is provided fully in English. Our Doctoral Programme in Nursing Science (DPNurs) is provided fully in English.
It is a general requirement that our students have a nationally recognized first cycle degree – normally a Bachelor’s degree from an accreted institution of higher education from relevant field. When applying in Master’s Degree Programme in Future Health & Technology, a Bachelor’s Degree in Health sciences or Nursing science is required.
