Our aim is to educate skillful dentists and top class researchers. Dentists and scientists graduated from the Institute of Dentistry are highly respected worldwide.
The Institute of Dentistry at the University of Turku has been ranked the 24th best in the world in the latest subject-specific Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU). Only three other European universities made the top 20 in Dentistry & Oral Sciences, all the other places went to universities from the United States.
