Research Infrastructures at the Faculty of Medicine

Up-to-date research infrastructures are necessary for excellent research and high quality education based on research.

Excellent infrastructure provides not only access to instruments, equipment and data, but also experts service for researchers and company customers. Faculty researchers have access to Turku Healthcampus local infrastructures which are necessary in medical research. Many of those offer also services for national and international research. Through university representation, the faculty is on the national infrastructure FIRI roadma, part of European Strategic Forum for Research Infrasructures, ESFRI, and member in many other international RI projects. Faculty supports open access and joint use of research infrastructures with other academic players as well as with industry.
