Quality Management at the Faculty of Science
The Steering Group of the Quality Management at the Faculty is in charge of the internal control and development of our quality management. The Chair of the Management Group is the Dean of the Faculty and the members include the Heads of Departments and Head of Faculty Administration.
Quality work is the basis for quality management at the University of Turku. Our Quality Management has been described in the Quality Manual
The quality system from the point of view of our own operation has been added on our Intranet pages to those sections where it best serves our quality work.
Head of Faculty Administration Merja Fehlig works as the everyday contact person for quality management. At the Faculty the dean is responsible for organising the quality work and at the departments this responsibility lies with the head of department. Every member of the university community implements quality management in his/her own work.
We examine the results of our operation in the Management Group and Council of the Faculty every six months.
