Language studies at CEAS
East Asian languages are taught from elementary to advanced level at the University of Turku. Elementary and continuation courses in Japanese and Korean are organized by the Centre for Language and Communication Studies and from intermediate level onwards through a collaboration between CEAS and Centre for Language and Communication Studies. Chinese language courses are organized by the Department of Chinese language at the School of Languages and Translation Studies.
Students who have taken the beginner's courses or who have learned the basics of Japanese elsewhere should contact the language teacher directly before starting a new course at CEAS.
