Multiprofessional Teaching Clinic
The Multiprofessional teaching clinic of the University of Turku is a learning and teaching environment built on true customer relations which focuses on the examination and counselling of children, adolescents, adults and families.
The teaching clinic is multiprofessional, bringing together expertise from psychology, social policy, social work and speech-language pathology. The teaching conventions are based on mentored work with customers plus lectures, seminars and demonstrations which forge the strong basis of knowledge and skills customer work requires.
The teaching conventions and processes of customer/patient work at the teaching clinic can be formulated as thesis topics.
The educators are teachers at the disciplines of psychology, social work and speech-language pathology and other experts. All teachers who supervise customer/patient work also have solid experience in practical work.
