Article Requests from the National Repository Library Will Be Forwarded Only in Paper Format from 1 September 2021
The delivery of articles ordered from the National Repository Library changes due to the negotiations with Kopiosto. The transmission of the article directly to the subscriber in electronic form is not any longer permitted under the copyright law.
From 1 September 2021, the National Repository Library will send the scanned materials to the subscriber library, from which they will be delivered to the subscriber in paper. The transmission of articles in electronic form is not permitted under copyright law.
You can pick up the paper articles either from Feeniks Library or ask to send them to your office via university internal mail.
You can use the interlibrary services request form to make an article request.
You can also contact us via email at kaukopalvelu@utu.fi.
Article copies from the National Repository Library are free.
The goal is to make the electronic article forwarding possible
In the fall of 2021 a project will begin in the National Repository Library to smooth and implement the interlibrary lending process. In this context, negotiations with Kopiosto will continue. The goal is to create a copyright permit by which the National Repository Library would be allowed to forward a copy of the article directly to the end user in a digital format.
We apologise for the inconvenience caused by the change in policy. The National Repository Library aims to have a functional and lawful solution for forwarding articles directly to the end user in the future.
