Call for Papers to the 2nd International Conference on Migration and Diaspora Entrepreneurship

​The 2nd International Conference on Migration and Diaspora Entrepreneurship (MDE) aims at a better understanding of challenges and potential solutions in the realm of migration and diaspora entrepreneurship. Migration paths become more and more important and modern nations tend to be or become transnational societies. As migrants and diasporans often act as risk-taking entrepreneurs, innovators and investors, they create a flow of financial capital and human capital such as knowledge and information by exploring and exploiting transnational entrepreneurial opportunities.

The MDE Conference welcomes research papers on all aspects of migration and diaspora entrepreneurship (Migration entrepreneurship, diaspora entrepreneurship, ethnic entrepreneurship, transnational entrepreneurship and refugee entrepreneurship). They can be conceptual in nature, literature reviews or empirical papers (qualitative, quantitative, or mixed methods). Interdisciplinary perspectives are especially welcome.

Submission deadline for abstracts is 15. July, 2016.
