Dr. Markku Wilenius has been appointed as a Professor of futures studies. He has been working in the field of futures studies close to 20 years. He entered Finland Futures Research Centre in 1996 and has performed various positions: Director (1999–2001 & 2003–2005) and Professor (2004–2012).
Markku Wilenius has done research projects in number of fields: future of mobile technologies, food, climate change, culture, financial services, forest business etc.
He has published widely and his next book “The Book of Future” will appear early 2015.
