The programme for the celebration day included, for example, a poster exhibition.

The international Master’s Degree Programme in Education and Learning (EDLearn) celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. The degree, formerly known as LLEES, was celebrated on Thursday, 20 November at Educarium at the University of Turku and in the nearby Osakuntasali ballroom.

The celebration day began in the lobby of Educarium, where posters presenting the history and current activities of the EDLearn Master’s Degree Programme were on display. Several students were present and were offered overall patches.

After the poster exhibition, the participants moved on to a separate event, where alumni were able to introduce themselves. It was also possible to take part in the event remotely.

The EDLearn celebrations continued alongside EduFall, an annual event for the staff of the Faculty of Education. In addition to the EDLearn posters, posters presenting research conducted at the Faculty were displayed in the Educarium lobby.

A toast was raised to mark the 20-year journey of EDLearn.

The day of celebration concluded in the nearby Osakuntasali ballroom, where participants gathered to enjoy the evening together with food and drink.
