How to find your h-index - training for researchers

Learn how to find your h-index and the citation counts to your articles. During the training the library’s information specialists will provide information on the most common pitfalls in determining the citation counts and the h-index of a researcher and how to avoid them.

​The training session will introduce the following three databases and their main differences in calculating the h-indices and the citation numbers:
  • Web of Science
  • Scopus
  • Google Scholar
The topics covered will also include the importance of affiliation information and finding journal impact factors. In order to get the best out of the training, please bring your updated  list of publications!
