Support for entomology research with the Apollo eBook Collection from 2007-2012. Apollo Books is very well known publisher in systematic entomology, now Apollo's books can be found as part of Brill's publishing house. All books are in English.
The library has subscribed to as much as 75 new humanist and social sciences databases from ProQuest this spring. All the databases will be in use for at least three years. Part of the sum that has been invested in the subscription may be used yearly for buying the most used ones for perpetual use.

Get head start to your research activities from effective patent search –Teqmine Patent Similarity Webinar 9.5.
The University of Turku pilots Teqmine Patent Similarity, a Finnish patent search database during the year 2019. The database covers millions of newest patents from around the world. All UTU credential holders have a free access to create a personal user account to the service via one-time Haka identification. A free user webinar is available for all interested UTU credentials holders on Thursday, 9 May, 2019, at 14.00–15.00 Finnish time.
Screen Studies is a dynamic digital platform taking users from script to screen and beyond – offering a broad range of content from Bloomsbury and Faber & Faber to support moving-image studies.
The library develops its collections in cooperation with the staff and students by utilizing the clientele's expertise. Therefore we are happy to receive acquisition requests for new resources.
Suitable new literature for course requirements is thought about at present in different subjects. Please inform the library about the new literature, so that we can acquire it as soon as possible. Let us also know the books that will be excluded from the requirements. Please tell us the changes by 13th May.
