Researcher, check your publication information of the year 2018!

The redesign of the University of Turku public website will increase the visibility of university researchers' publications. In the future, the publication data of the researchers will be imported directly from the Current Research System UTUCRIS and shown on their profile pages automatically. Now is therefore the perfect time to check that your own publication data of the year 2018 is correct and up-to-date.
At the moment, UTUCRIS includes the publication information of 2400 publications from the year 2018. This is, however, only a part of research conducted by researchers affiliated with the university.
To check whether your publication information is included, retrieve your publications from the Researcher'sCV file at http://utu.fi/researchercv. The Researcher'sCV listing shows all of your publications in UTUCRIS.
My publication listing is incomplete – what next?
The University Library imports publication information automatically from Web of Science and Scopus. However, many publications – such as monographs, publications in Finnish and publications published on other platforms besides scientific journals – are not imported, which is why researchers often need to report their publication information themselves. By checking your publication information now, you will ease your reporting load at the end of the year.
If you know that a research paper, monograph or some other research publication of yours has been published, but cannot find it in your Researcher'sCV, report the publication information directly to the Library by online form. You can submit the final manuscript of your publication for parallel publishing (Green OA) in UTUCRIS at the same time. The library will validate the information and check the publisher permission for parallel publishing.

What about old publications?
The library has imported publications from 2010-13 and updated the information of 2014-15 in the system. A researcher can independently import or save manually older publications or publications not affiliated to the University of Turku. The library offers support and help in this process.
