The aim of SEAMEASURES is to contribute to thriving and sustainable shipping through analysis of different options for decarbonization and minimizing the harmful impacts to air quality and the marine environment.
SEAMEASURES project was granted EU BSR Interreg seed money in the latest call for proposals. During this one year project, suitable funding options will be identified for the main project. A state of play report in the field of sustainable shipping and decarbonisation will be compiled. The seed money project will be implemented during October 2020 - September 2021.
The project is coordinated by the Centre for Maritime Studies (CMS), and the partners are from Sweden, Germany and Finland. SEAMEASURES strenghtens the maritime environment related competence of CMS. It continues the work towards more sustainable maritime cluster in the ongoing project platform CSHIPP as well as our previous BSR Interreg project EnviSuM.
