Universal borrowing service from National Repository Library ends

29.03.2019

Until now, Turku University students and personnel have been able to request books from National Repository Library in Kuopio directly via Volter database. National Repository Library is changing their library system to a new one and unfortunately this will end the universal borrowing service with Turku University Library and Volter database at the end of March.

How to return UB-loans?

If you have UB-loans, please return them to the Feeniks Library by the end of May.

In case you need the loans longer, contact the Turku University Library’s interlibrary services as soon as possible. UB-loans can be converted into interlibrary loans without extra cost but they need to be processed at the library.

Email address for interlibrary services is kaukopalvelu@utu.fi.

Books can be requested from the National Repository Library via interlibrary services

In the future books can be requested from the National Repository Library via interlibrary services. Charge for the service will be the same as for former UB-loans.
