Venture Alliances - business collaboration

03.11.2023

Researcher, student,

are you interested in collaborating with businesses?

Do you have an idea or invention that might have commercial potential?

Venture Alliances bring academics and businesses together to collaborate and build meaningful partnerships that enable the bridging of knowledge and experience between academia and industry.

The collaboration can take different forms, such as mentoring, developing together the TRL or investigating the commercial potential of the new ideas, or even co-creating an innovative joint venture. At the same time, you learn about entrepreneurship and build networks that might provide future collaboration and funding.

The business -academic collaboration program offers academics:

  • Support for developing the idea, solution / technology
  • Commercial knowledge and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Networks
  • Opportunities for collaboration and funding

To facilitate fruitful collaboration, the program offers:

  • Training both for the businesses and the academics
  • Matching academics with businesses (incl. matching events)
  • Provide participants with training, mentorship, support (e.g. on IP issues, start-up process, funding opportunities)
  • Offer an opportunity to pitch your idea for an advisory board of experts and investors

The next matchmaking event will be organized already 21st-23rd November, so register as a participant no later than 12th November 2023!
If you cannot make it now, but would be interested in participating later, please contact us, because the program continues still next year.
