Biography
I work as a coordinator at TCLS Turku Centre for Labour Studies. My responsibilities include coordinating educational, research and societal interaction matters. I am also in charge of all general administrative and communiucational tasks of the unit. I also take part in coordinating, planning and teaching in Multidisciplinary Studies in Work, Working life and HR Research (TYHE).
I work as a doctoral researcher in the PhD program in Language and Translation Studies at Utuling, in the German language department (2021-). I am a member of Social Interaction (YVV) and Communications Working Group at the School of Languages and Translation Studies at the Faculty of Humanities (2023-2024, 2025-). I also serve as the coordinator for the Discourse theme group of the national doctoral training network in language research, Langnet (2022-). In addition, I am a member of the Language in the Workplace network of the Finnish Association of Applied Linguistics AFinLA ry (2022-).

Research
In my doctoral thesis, I study the discussion on platform work, its status and the meanings it receives from the perspective of different actors and influencers in the EU's economic and cultural area. As data I use online newspaper article, interviews, publications of International Labour Organization ILO and websites and other public profiles of platforms that intermediate work.
The goal of my dissertation is to compile a multi-voiced image of platform work and discussion on it.
