Because of the open publishing (Open Access), scientific publications are available to everyone and research results can be effectively disseminated to a wider audience than the research community.
The Open Publication Policy of the University of Turku and the related action program have guided the university community since 2016. The policy will be updated during the coming year, e.g. taking into account recent national and international developments in open science and research.
