Student and teacher exchange

The student exchange is mainly through the European Union Erasmus exchange programme.

Master's degree students
The department offers annually several courses in English and also tailors additional studies in English to meet the students´ learning objectives.

Doctoral candidates
Department of Nursing science has international doctoral candidates. We welcome you to apply to our Doctoral Programme in Nursing Science (DPNurs) and our exchange programmes.

The Department of Nursing Science is committed to supporting the educational development of students. The length of the exchange programme is between three and five months depending on the agreement between the Universities.

Students participating in the nurse teacher program can carry out their practicum for example in Lithuania at Klaipeda College.

Students participating in the Clinical, Gerontological or Mental Health Nursing Science programs can perform their training in Lithuania in cooperation with Nursing Department at Klaipeda University, Klaipeda University Hospital and Klaipeda Seamen's Hospital or Barcelona University Hospital.
We also have practicum collaboration with the WHO Healthy Cities program center in Turku where students can study in English.

All teachers at the Department of Nursing Science are active in teacher exchange.
Teacher exchange to Turku
Teacher exchange has a minimum of eight hours of teaching. Please see the web pages for incoming staff and teachers for planning an exchange or a training period in Turku.
