Apply for a research room in Feeniks Library by 30 April
The research rooms in Feeniks Library can be applied for by the researchers of the University of Turku.
The application period for research rooms is from 1 March to 30 April and the research rooms can be applied for from 1 August.
Researchers wishing to apply for a room can fill out an online form.
The research rooms are primarily for postgraduate students conducting their dissertation work at the University of Turku, who do not have an office elsewhere at the university. The allocation decision also takes into account the applicant’s need of the Law of Cultural Material and Preserving related materials in Feeniks Library.
Access to a research room is granted for up to one year at a time, and for a maximum of two consecutive years from the beginning of the first usage period. However, for master's thesis writers, the room is granted for a maximum of three months.
Rooms are accessible 24/7 and equipped with a computer and internet connection. The basic furnishing is for one person, but the room can also be given to several applicants on request.
