The Faculty of Technology has received the EUR-ACE accreditation for the Finnish Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes (Tech) in Information and Communications Technology. The accreditation is at first conditional for one year, until 8.9.2023.
The EUR-ACE framework and accreditation system provides a set of international standards that identifies high quality engineering degree programmes. The standard is managed by the European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education (ENAEE). The Finnish Education Evaluation Centre (FINEEC, Karvi ) acted as the accreditation agency.
The EUR-ACE accreditation process is part of the Faculty of Technology’s education management and development activities and targeted to strengthen programme level quality assurance at all departments. The accreditation is at first valid for one year, after which the conditions will be reassessed.
