Maria Elo invited to an UNCTAD panel on Entrepreneurship and Migration

​​On the occasion of the Global Entrepreneurship Week, UNCTAD and UNDP, together with WIPO, the international Organisation for Migration and the Mission of the United States of America, organise a special panel session to discuss how diasporas can promote entrepreneurship for sustainable development and how entrepreneurship can empower migrants and refugees through increased skills, knowledge and networks.

Maria Elo, a Research Fellow from the International Business discipline at Turku School of Economics, has been invited to be a panelist discussing the second issue: "Creating economic opportunities and boost entrepreneurship among displaced people". The panel discussions take place in the Palais des Nations, Geneva, on the 15th of November.
