Melanie Hassett appointed as Senior Fellow

D.Sc. Melanie Hassett has been appointed as a Senior Fellow at Turku School of Economics for 1.1.2017–31.12.2018. Her areas of specialty include internationalisation strategy and especially post-M&A socio-cultural integration. Hassett received her doctoral degree from Turku School of Economics in 2010, majoring in international business. Currently she is working as a lecturer in international business at Sheffield University in the UK. Before transferring to Sheffield Hassett worked in Turku School of Economics in various research and teaching positions ever since her graduation as M.Sc. in international business in 2004. Hassett’s areas of specialty fit the international business research field particularly well and the purpose of this appointment is to solidify her ties with Turku School of Economics.
