As a part of FinELib consortium and its license agreements for scholarly journals, University of Turku Library can offer researchers open access benefits. They enable the corresponding authors to publish their articles openly, either free of article processing charges or with a discounted price. Terms under which the benefits are available and the processes of the publishers vary.

Publishing an article open access without article processing charge (APC) in Taylor&Francis, Elsevier, Emerald, Wiley and American Chemical Society (ACS)  journals is possible using granted credits. Those credits will be now used in that order as those are approved to be published. There is a limited number of OA gredits available during agreement period.

Taylor&Francis, Elsevier, Emerald, Wiley and ACS offer the benefit in hybrid-journals, at the article acceptance stage.
