Publish Your Taylor & Francis E-book OA Retrospectively with Discount

The publisher Taylor & Francis offers authors a chance to publish their e-books OA retrospectively. Researchers who have published e-books and/or e-book chapters with Taylor & Francis can contact the publisher if they wish to pay discounted Book Processing Charges. The size of the discount percent depends on the publishing date. The BPC for books, which have been published for over one year ago, is reduced by 30%, for books over two years ago by 50%, and for books older than three years 70%. In the long term Taylor & Francis is aiming for sustainable models of frontlist Open Access publications, but retro OA is the starting point. For Open Access books authored by researchers at University of Helsinki, Taylor & Francis has compiled a web page: University of Helsinki Open Access book collection. For request, the publisher can compile a corresponding web page for Univeristy of Turku, too, in case there is interest for opening books.
